Liriodendrum tulipifera
What a pretty flower!
Well, it's also a pretty big flower...
This is the flower of the Tulip-Tree--the largest flowering plant in North America!
The Liriodendron genus consists of only two species: L. tulipifera and L.chinense
The Tulip-Tree is a large, deciduous tree that can reach to 35m.
In Québec, it is at the northern limit of it's tolerance zone so it does not grow as big.
